Apps Increase Patient Outcome

Many intensive care units are using apps and devices to link patients, families and physicians for better outcomes. So reports The Wall Street Journal.

Research shows that patient and family participation greatly increases the outcome of a patient visit. Apps can help the medical staff coordinate with the patients and families to ensure that patients are receiving proper follow-up care, which can greatly decrease the chance of re-admittance.
