California Health System Leaks Info of 34,000 Patients

St. Joseph Health Systems, located in Northern California, suffered its third HIPAA violation. So reports Healthcare IT News.

This time a unencrypted USB drive holding patient information was stolen out of an employee's unlocked locker. The drive contained social security numbers and other information for 34,000 patients.
