FDA Announces Companies for Pilot Program

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the nine tech companies that will participate in its Software Pre-Cert Pilot Program. So reports Fierce Healthcare.

The Pre-Cert program is part of the agency's Digital Health Innovation Action Plan. The action plan's goal is to streamline the regulatory process for companies that create digital health tools. The nine companies include Apple, Fitbit, Samsung and Verily.
