Blue Cross of Tenn. to Pay $1.5M for Data Breach

In the first enforcement action as a result of the HITECH Breach Notification Rule, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee has been ordered to pay the Department of Health and Human Services $1.5 million dollars.
