PatientKeeper Helps Physicians Keep up with Workflow

Most physicians spend time shuttling between clinic and hospital. While on the go they need to keep up with their patient workflow, but it can be tough. Each place has its own system with its own log-ins and protocols.

It is often very difficult to coordinate patient care from these disparate systems. To help doctors keep up with their work, PatientKeeper offers a suite of integrated applications that gives doctors everything they need to manage their patient workflow from home, the hospital, clinic or pretty much anywhere. From a handheld or PC, doctors can access not only clinical information, but also communication, documentation and billing tools.

PatientKeeper gives physicians the option of starting with a single application and then adding additional applications as they need them. The software allows physicians to quickly review patient labs, access medical images, capture charges, sign charts, write progress notes, transfer tasks at sign-out, and more.

It is all available from one easy-to-use web-based physician portal environment. In addition, PatientKeeper offers a special mobile application suite, the Physician Mobility. With Physician Mobility, doctors can use the mobile device of their choice to access all the PatientKeeper features to help them manage their patients. With the application, doctors can access patient records, check labs, test results, enter orders, or record charges.

The Mobility application supports iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android. PatientKeeper’s apps are secure native applications that are optimized for each mobile device, and the applications are designed to interact with the hospital or clinic systems seamlessly.
