GE Healthcare IT Simplifies Processes for Physician Participation in Quality Initiative

GE Healthcare, a leading vendor of healthcare information technology, has announced an initiative to simplify physician participation in Medicare's Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). GE Healthcare's Medical Quality Improvement Consortium (MQIC) quality data system was selected by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) as a reporting registry for the 2008 program.
