The company that provides civilian health benefits for current and former military personnel is reporting a data breach, reports Government Health IT. The company, TRICARE, reports the data breach involved backup tapes holding the Military Health System electronic medical records for patients who visited the San Antonio military treatment facilities from 1992 through September of 2011.
