The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service reported the number of doctors and hospitals registered for its electronic health record incentive program surpassed 100,000 for the month of September, Government Health IT reports. Currently, thirty-three states have opened their Medicaid electronic health record incentive programs and the Centers show more than $850 million in electronic health record incentives have already been paid out.
