The larger a medical practice is, the more likely it is to adopt an electronic health record system, according to new study. The report, highlighted in Healthcare IT News, indicates that there is an overall adoption rate of 40% and that number generally increases with the number of doctors at each site. For example, a site with one doctor has a 30% adoption rate, while a practice with 26 physicians has a 75% adoption rate. Click here to read the full article. | |||
