Physicians with smaller practices often have a hard time finding a system that gives them everything they need at a price they can afford. ClearPractice aims to change that by offering a suite of solutions geared towards smaller practices (fewer than 10 doctors). ClearPractice claims to be the only pure web-based Saas office solution that is meaningful use certified. A smaller practice should be able to design the perfect package to meet all their needs.

ClearPractice offers modules for electronic medical records, personal health records, practice management, e-prescribing, revenue cycle management and even a mobile app for both i-Phones and i-Pads. ClearPractice’s modules are customizable and implementation is easy - in some instances the system can be fully deployed in 30 days.

The system has only one database for all the modules, so data exchange is seamless between modules. ClearPractice has a SaaS CMS-approved patient registry for patient population management, which can help a physician qualify an additional 2% Medicare reimbursement.

The patient health record allows the clinic to set up a secure patient portal that is fully customizable. The clinic can designate what patients can access such as appointment setting, medication refills, etc.

ClearPractice’s practice management system automates billing, has a claim tracker and access to clearinghouse reports, coding and claim scrubber. It also offers a collection tool for handling collections either internally or externally. The full electronic medical record has decision support and population management tools.

ClearPractice’s e-prescribing module is fully certified for the CMS e-Prescribing incentives. It operates as a seamless element of the electronic medical record system, but it can be purchased and operated separately. Revenue cycle management includes electronic claims submissions, payment through ERA, rigorous follow up of all unpaid claims, detailed review and posting of all insurance EOB's and payments, plus detailed financial reports.
