Craneware Physician Management Toolkit (www.craneware.com ) is a multi-module, fully integrated system which includes the Physician Revenue Toolkit, the Online Reference Toolkit for physicians, and the physician specific key performance indicators powered by Craneware Decision Dashboard. This software assists you in managing a physician group’s charges, codes, and fee schedules. With its combination of embedded reference and online tools a physician office can capture all revenue and identify compliance related risks. The technology in the Physician Management Toolkit is the same as in the Chargemaster Toolkit which was designed for hospitals. Craneware took this sophisticated technology and designed this software specifically for physician offices and physician groups so they could have the same revenue management capabilities as hospitals using the Chargemaster Toolkit. In Use The combined modules of the Physician Management Toolkit provide physician practices the ability to monitor the complete revenue cycle. It can ensure correct and permitted charging on the front end; monitoring practice productivity in the middle; and monitor core business process outcomes on the back end. The Physician Management Toolkit homepage is a dashboard which allows you to see at a glance several of the core business processes using key performance indicator graphs. This entire system is integrated so you are able to move between modules seamlessly. The toolkit can be customized to your specific preferences.
Disadvantages
My Opinion The Physician Management Toolkit is an amazing application; it contains every imaginable function and tool that ever would be needed to manage the revenue of a physician’s office including claims, codes, RVUs and anything else related to revenue management. This software basically handles the nightmare of coding claims for you. It will tell you when anything is not correct, if something is missing, if there is an invalid charge or even under-priced procedures. The dashboards and cube builder are outstanding. I was very impressed with the software and also with the associates at Craneware. They have a staff of well educated dedicated individuals who make customer support their top priority. Their training is ongoing and anytime you have a question or problem it takes them only minutes to respond, which in today’s society is almost unheard of. I think this software and the company are outstanding and every physician office should be using the Physician Management Toolkit to maximize their revenue. | |||
