Nuance Communications Dragon Medical 10 Software (http://nuance.com) is a medical voice recognition system that recognizes dictation nearly twice as fast as its previous release. This newest version has ten new medical vocabularies, and has improved integration with EMR systems. A physician can create medical documents, emails and dictate directly into an EMR system using this voice recognition software.

The screens and menus are designed to be user friendly. When using this speech recognition software you can easily navigate the entire system with voice commands. The Dragon Medical 10 has new macro capabilities to create customized voice shortcuts for common phrases or larger blocks of text that can include embedded fields.

This software is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. It is also compatible with Windows Server 2000 and 2003 and Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 4 or 4.5. It is compatible with Citrix or Windows based EMR systems, including, but not limited to, Allscripts, Epic, NextGen, Meditech and Eclipsys.
Dragon Medical 10 is easily installed, very well designed and a valuable timesaving solution for physicians and clinicians. Dragon Medical 10 has added new macro capabilities to create customized voice shortcuts which make it even easier and faster to use this great time-saving voice recognition software. I would highly recommend this software. | |||
