Thomson Reuters and Zynx Health said the Thomson Reuters Micromedex will be integrated into ZynxOrder evidence-based order sets. This move pushes Micromedex clinical reference information to the point of care, giving physicians access to comprehensive drug information and disease protocols from their ZynxOrder evidence-based order set. Thomson Reuters will partner with Zynx Health as its source for order set solutions, and Zynx Health will offer Micromedex content as a preferred choice for clinical reference content. Joint customers will have contextual links from their ZynxOrder order sets into the Micromedex content. The agreement brings Zynx Health’s experience providing evidence-based and experience-based clinical decision support solutions to more than 1,700 hospitals together with Thomson Reuters’ market leadership in providing Micromedex evidence-based clinical reference information to more than 3,500 hospitals.
