MedAssurant, a provider of data-driven healthcare solutions, said it has implemented its Quality Spectrum Cluster Logic (QSCL) technology, a proprietary analytical data structure designed to enable acceleration of complex healthcare data analyses.

The technology has been shown to increase healthcare data analytical process runs by a factor of 2,000 over methodologies previously available. QSCL offers straightforward measure design and querying performance.

In parallel with the development of QSCL, MedAssurant has optimized the current analytical toolsets that drive the company's system processes and insight into healthcare data. Additionally, MedAssurant has integrated its Medical Outcomes Research for Effectiveness & Economics Registry (MORE2 Registry) dataset into the QSCL platform. The MORE2 Registry data has more than 3.9 billion medical events from more than 76 million patients, 295,000 physicians and 185,000 clinical facilities throughout the United States.

Through the power of these combined capabilities, MedAssurant says it can run highly sophisticated clinical analytics across billions of events within minutes – a process that would have previously required several weeks to complete.
