e-MDs, a provider of electronic health records, has been selected as an EHR vendor partner for the California Health Information Partnership and Services Organization (CalHIPSO).

CalHIPSO, a federally-designated Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (HITREC), provides REC services to all of California except Los Angeles and Orange County. e-MDs will work with CalHIPSO to encourage and facilitate the adoption of EHR technology by the state's healthcare providers.  

As a vendor partner, e-MDs will help providers manage efficient implementation and achievement of meaningful use in a cost effective manner.
