Hawaii Trying to Stop Physician Shortage

As the United States faces a physician shortage, projected to be 100,000 by 2030, Hawaii is finding a way to keep physicians on the island. So reports Hawaii Public Radio.

Hawaii's Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center is helping Hawaii be the number one state in retaining graduates. Some of the efforts to tackle the shortage includes offering training and mentorships, as well as student debt repayment.
