Doctors Slow to Recommend Wearables, mHealth Apps

Patients are interested in wearables and other mobile health technology, but physicians rarely recommend them. So reports mHealth Intelligence.

A Medpanel survey of 415 U.S. doctors found that only 15% of them bring up wearables and mHealth apps to their patients. In contrast, about 38% of those patients would benefit from using a device or app.
