A new Black Book survey finds that Health Information Exchange (HIE) adoption is still low. So reports EHR Intelligence.

Doctors and hospitals know that health information exchanges are valuable tools, but many don’t belong to one. Of the private practice doctors surveyed, 90% did not belong to a health information exchange. While 70% of the surveyed non-system hospitals indicated they have no affiliation with one.
