VA & Cleveland Clinic Coordinate Care

In an effort to provide veterans with more coordinated care, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Cleveland Clinic have teamed up. So reports Crain’s Cleveland.

Starting in March, the two medical organizations will provide “seamless” access to each other’s medical records. Currently, 1,800 veterans receive care at both the Cleveland Clinic and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Seamlessly sharing data will mean improved coordination of care for patients, not just locally but at any clinic or VA hospital across the country.
