AMA Brings EHR Concerns to ONC

The American Medical Association and a coalition of 35 physician organizations have expressed unhappiness with both electronic health records (EHR) and the current Meaningful Use certification requirements. So reports Healthcare IT News.

To help improve the system, the group has written the Office of the National Coordinator with a seven-point plan. The plan includes uncoupling EHR certification from the Meaningful Use program and increasing stakeholder feedback.
