Docs Often Have Trouble with Inaccurate Tweets: Study

While medical conventions encourage their attendees to tweet about the event, many physicians find it hard to accurately convey the information. So reports Reuters.

The problem likely arises from the character count constraints of an individual tweet, which can lead individuals to delete crucial information. A recent analysis of 14 medical conference speakers, tweeting a total of 37 times, found numerous inaccuracies.  

Just 16 of the tweets were fully accurate, while 16 were partially accurate and three misrepresented key points.
