Digital Devices Gaining Traction in Healthcare

A growing number of U.S. healthcare-givers are using digital devices as part of their healthcare routine, according to a new Parks Associates report. So reports Government Health IT.

The survey shows that 44% of both current and future caregivers were interested in using electronic devices to help monitor their patients. Currently, a large number of survey respondents use a smartwatch or online tracking tool as part of their daily routine. Parks expects more than 32 million people to be using a digital device for tracking some aspect of their health by 2016.
