Online Physician Ratings May Not Help Patients

Online physician rating sites probably don't give patients useful information. So reports iHealth Beat.

A new study published in the JAMA Internal Medicine looked at 1,299 physicians and compared the information found online to patient medical records and surveys. The study results showed that online ratings didn't match up with clinical quality measure reporting. Only patient experience matched results found online.
