Doctors Get 'Decision Fatigue'

A new study conducted by researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston finds that after a morning spent interacting with patients, doctors can suffer from 'Decision Fatigue'. So reports Fox News.

This fatigue often leads doctors to take the easier route in prescribing treatment for patients. For example, in the afternoon, doctors are 25% more likely to prescribe antibiotics to patients who don't need them.
