Wave of Docs Apply for Meaningful Use Exemption

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid has revealed how many providers have requested a Meaningful Use hardship exemption from the upcoming 2015 certification requirements. So reports EHR Intelligence.

Currently, the CMS has received 44,000 exemption requests. A majority of those seeking exemption are having trouble with their Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT).
