A study in Telehealth and E-medicine indicates patients are receptive to using telehealth technology to consult with their physician. So reports EHR Intelligence.

More than 66% of those surveyed were willing to try a telehealth consult, but only 14% reported being satisfied enough with the telehealth consult to try again.

While the study found patients willing to try the telehealth consult a majority of them still felt a face-to-face meeting provided better overall results.
