Software to Use Brainwaves to Control Tech

ALS patients and others with limited mobility may benefit from the new partnership between Philip and Accenture. So reports Healthcare IT News.

The two companies are working on concept software that would let users control devices with brainwaves.

User's EEG brainwaves are scanned by the Emotiv Insight Brainware, which is connected to a tablet app. From the device users may control Philips products such as its Lifeline Medical Alert Service, SmartTV and Hue wireless lighting systems.
