Some of these doctors are even working and performing surgery while under the influence. There are numerous claims of botched surgeries with dire consequences - death, paralysis - resulting from an intoxicated or stoned surgeon.
The report indicates that many of the doctors are able to score the drugs via prescriptions from various colleagues, most who are unaware of the multiple additional prescriptions the doctor has secured or their addiction.
