Rush Health Creating Private HIE

Rush Health, which serves Chicago and surrounding suburbs, has contracted Caradigm USA to create a private health information exchange. So reports Crain’s Chicago Business.

Rush Health encompasses 1,000 doctors at three hospitals, including Rush University Medical Center. Caradigm, a joint venture between GE and Microsoft will provide the software that connects all the disparate electronic health records used throughout the Rush system.
