Health System Sends Bills with Other Patients’ Private Info

Patients of the University of Pennsylvania Health System received notice of a privacy breach. So reports MedCity News.

 The breach occurred when misprinted billing statements were sent out to 1,000 patients. The statements contained not only the patients’ billing information, but also another patient’s private information printed on the reverse side of the bill.
