The Senate Commerce Committee named Babycenter.com, a pregnancy website owned by Johnson & Johnson, as one of 12 companies it contacted to assist with its ongoing investigation of data brokers and their collection of health information for use in advertising.

The committee wants to determine how Babycenter’s app and others like it collect and share user data.
