ONC Surpasses Meaningful Use Goal

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has passed its goal for Meaningful Use among rural providers. So reports Government Health IT.

The ONC set a goal of enlisting 1,000 rural and critical access hospitals to Meaningful Use by the end of 2014. Currently, it has 62% of CAHs and 77% of rural hospitals. The total number of sites enlisted is 1,115.
