Group to Help Protect Medical Devices from Cyber Attacks

The Center for Internet Security, a non-profit organization that focuses on internet security, wants to develop a set of benchmarks to protect medical devices from cyber attacks. So reports Healthcare IT News.

Currently, the Center is working with manufacturers of devices such as insulin pumps, pacemakers and defibrillators to design ways to keep them from being hacked or damaged by malware.
