Milwaukee Clinic Loses Access to Patient Records

Physicians at Milwaukee Health Services have lost access the medical records of 40,000 patients. So reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Business Computer Applications, who provides the clinic’s electronic medical records, states the reason the clinic no longer has access to the records is because it failed to renew its contract. In order to regain access, Milwaukee Health Services sued Business Computer Applications Inc. recently in federal court seeking restoration of access to the records.
