CDC Wants to Use Smartphones to Collect Health Data

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is proposing a new project that would use smartphones to collect information on health behaviors, reports MobiHealth News

The CDC is asking for a one-year feasibility study to determine if texting questionnaires and offering  mobile-friendly websites for smartphone users would help the CDC collect public health data faster.
