New Competition to Solve Healthcare Problems?

The Care Transformation Prize Series, a new initiative designed to encourage health organizations use data to solve healthcare problems, launched earlier this week, reports Government Health IT.

The Prize Series was created by the Heritage Provider Network, the Advisory Board Company and the Bipartisan Policy Center. For the competition, scientists will attempt to solve three questions, which are submitted by healthcare organizations or members of the public. The winning scientist will receive $100,000 and the solutions will be made available to the healthcare community.
