ONC Provides a Toolkit to Rural Doctors
A new toolkit for rural providers is available from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, reports HIE Watch.
The kit contains information on forming or joining a health information exchange, a guide to DIRECT and a privacy and security resource list among other things. The ONC hopes the kit will encourage rural providers to adopt HIEs.
