Health Exchange Interoperability Questioned

States have until 2015 to create a health information exchange, but as that date approaches questions remain whether the individual state exchanges will be interoperable.

While states have focused on creating exchanges their primary focus has been getting the exchange to work within in the state, reports Healthcare IT News. Critics fear this means the exchanges will not be interoperable, leaving each state with a stand-alone exchange. Click here to read the full article.
