More Oversight Needed for Healthcare Social Media: Report

As patients turn more to social networks and the Internet for health information, a new report finds that more oversight is needed in the quality of information available on these sites, according to Healthcare IT News.

The report, which is published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, finds that there is a huge difference in structure, financing, oversight of content and membership on the sights often resulting in erroneous or incomplete information. Click here to read the full article.
