The service is encrypted, HIPAA-compliant and promises a 24 hour turnaround with 98% accuracy. In addition to processing dictation, the site is a secure online data management and delivery service.

To use the service doctors enroll via the OvernightScribe website. The practice is assigned a master account; within the practice account, individual doctors have their own unique user ID. And, each authorized user can create an unlimited amount of customized report templates.

After enrolling, doctors can submit their dictation via a touch-tone phone using OvernightScribe’s toll-free number. Other options for submitting dictation include using select Olympus Digital voice recorders or the Accent iOS App from the iTunes store.

Login to the OvernightScribe system to review completed dictations, edit, and approve. Users can opt to automate the approval and deliver process, such as choosing to have all the completed transcription delivered via email. Approved reports can be downloaded, emailed, printed or faxed from the OvernightScribe website.

While OvernightScribe doesn’t charge a monthly subscription fee, there is a per job fee. Prices are charged per line and there are three different pricing levels available.
