If the device is lost or stolen, it is possible to remotely wipe all the information from it, restoring the device to its factory settings. If the device is recovered, MedMaster has a way to restore the information using iTunes and the most recent backup.

MedMaster includes Nuance Healthcare’s speech recognition, which enables doctors to dictate patient notes in real-time on-the-go. Voice recognition also means doctors can navigate the software with voice commands, making the device simple and quick to operate.

MedMaster offers physicians access to the latest medical dictionary, terms, phrases and clinical formatting rules. Features also include a scheduler, which lets physicians view and schedule office visits, hospital rounds, surgeries, and transfers from facility to facility.

In addition, it has a My Patients feature, so doctors have instant access to current patient information. It also has a prescription module that is customizable by location and insurance preferences including instant drug interactions and access to Physicians' Desk Reference. There is also a My Billing feature, which gives doctors a way to track accounts receivable, do insurance verification and check clearinghouse availability.
