National Instruments Selects Initiate Systems to help Create Global Customer Views

Deployment will help provide cost savings, enhance customer experiences and improve efficiencies.

Initiate Systems, Inc. has announced that it has been selected by National Instruments (NI), a pioneer in virtual instrumentation, to create a single view of its customers located in nearly 40 countries. The deployment of Initiate OrganizationTM and Initiate ConsumerTM (formerly known as Initiate Identity Hub® software) and Inspector for Relationships will help NI improve its customers’ experiences and reduce costs by enhancing global customer relationships, organizational productivity and service-level accuracy, as well as data analysis and mining.

“With customers around the world, it is essential that we have a complete and accurate view of their service contracts, sales and support data and that we understand the relationships between our customers,” said Michael Beamer, IT applications director at National Instruments. “The implementation of Initiate Systems software will help us move toward a 360-degree customer view with minimal interruption to our business.”

In addition to providing NI with a better understanding of how its customers are interconnected, the software also will provide customers with visibility into their activities with NI. The new solution also will enhance the speed and efficiency of online transactions through real-time integration of Web and Oracle databases containing customer data.
